Making Spirits Bright
Happy Saturday, friends! Wow, is it just me or has finishing up Christmas shopping and planning just been hectic?! My plans for today include *fingers crossed* finishing up my Christmas shopping and getting everything wrapped and under the tree. Tonight, I’ll also be doing a little baking for a Christmas cookie competition party I have tomorrow with some of my favorite blogger babes! I’ll come right out and admit that I’m a little nervous as cookies have never been strong suit. I know, I know, cookies are so simple but somehow I always manage to either over cook or under cook them. I can bake just about anything else (check out this post to learn how to make French Macarons), but cookies always give me a hard time.
Sparkling Apple Cider Cocktail
Speaking of Holiday parties, I’ve teamed up with Luna Nuda to bring you a festive Sparkling Apple Cider Cocktail that is sure to please all guests alike! I was so excited when Luna Nuda agreed to team up with me for this post as they are local to Atlanta. I have always loved supporting local businesses, and since moving to the city that hasn’t changed.
Without further ado, let’s get into how to make this delicious cocktail. Did I mention this is probably the easiest cocktail ever to make? Seriously, so easy! All you need to do is mix 1 part apple cider (I bought mine premade from Publix) with 1 part Luna Nuda Prosecco. Volila! That’s it, simply garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and you’re all set!
For the cinnamon sugar rim, mix 1 part cinnamon and 1 part sugar (I actually used a little bit more sugar to make sure the cinnamon wasn’t too much). Using a shallow dish, add enough water to cover the bottom of the plate. Dip your rim in the water and then into the cinnamon sugar mix. Use a funnel to pour in your apple cider and champagne.
So, what are you waiting for? Run out and grab a bottle of Luna Nuda Prosecco today and get to mixing!
Thank you so much to Luna Nuda for sponsoring this post. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
